Can my vehicle, used for work, be seized?

The case judged at the end of last year discussed the seizure of a vehicle used as a working tool by the debtor, who provides gastronomy services at events and needs the car adapted with a cold room for the storage and transportation of the food produced to the event venues served.

The Santa Catarina Court of Justice, in this case, held that the seized vehicle enjoyed special protection under the Code of Civil Procedure, declaring it unseizable.
